Mutual of Omaha’s financial strength is rated A+ by A.M. Best and Standard & Poor and A1 by Moody’s. The company has a customer rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars and is accredited by the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating.
Humana’s financial ratings from major credit agencies include BBB+ (Standard & Poor’s), BBB (Fitch Ratings), BBB- (AM Best) and Baa3 (Moody’s).
Consumer Affairs rates Humana 4.0 stars out of 5, and the company is accredited by the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating.
There are 10 standard Medicare Supplement plans available in most states, and the benefits of each type of plan are certified by the federal government. Aside from enrollment incentives (which we’ll discuss later), Plan A from Humana offers the same coverage as Plan A from Mutual of Omaha. And this is true for any scheme of similar characters.
Understanding Medicare Advantage

Humana offers a strong selection of plans with 8 out of 10 policies included in its package. Humana Medigap plan options include A, B, C, F (and F with a high deductible), G (and G (and G (and G) plus G), K, L and N. However, it’s important to note that not all plans guarantee placement).
The Omaha Medigap plan co-op is slightly smaller than Humana’s offerings with plans A, F (and high-deductible Plan F), G (and G (and G) and N).

Changes In Medicare Advantage For 2024
As you can see from the chart above, Mutual of Omaha generally has lower premiums than Humana for Medicare supplement insurance, although this may be the case with plans in all locations.
Medicare supplemental insurance benefits are standard, but some insurance companies may add some special incentives to enrollees.
Humana Medigap plans may include many benefits, including discounts on fitness club memberships, vision, hearing and prescription drugs, and a 24-hour nurse line. Humana also offers Medigap plans that include insurance riders for basic vision and dental coverage, usually with a small fee in addition to the plan premium.
In a limited number of states, Mutual of Omaha offers membership in an exercise program, known as MutualWell, as an optional benefit with Medicare supplement plans. In some states, plans may offer discounts on healthy lifestyle products and routine vision and hearing care.
